Maxine Roper

CoFounder at Connecting Food

Maxine Roper has extensive work experience in various roles and industries. Maxine is the CoFounder of Connecting Food, a company that provides an intelligent data platform for real-time product and supply chain management. Prior to that, Maxine worked at Avril as the Director of Marketing and Strategy for the Food - Animal products Division. In this role, they set up projects in the agri-food production chain, created programs, and led strategic plans for the egg-industry. Maxine also worked on a prospective study for plant/animal proteins. Before Avril, Maxine served as the Company Director at KLOROFIL, Green Energies. Maxine also worked at ANDROS as the Marketing Director for the BONNE MAMAN & ANDROS brands, and at Sara Lee as the Group Brand Manager for Maison du Café Coffee brand. Maxine began their career at Mars as a Product Manager and later took on a sales role. Maxine'searly experience includes working as an Assistant Product Manager at Nestlé.

Maxine Roper attended Lancaster University from 1987 to 1991, where they obtained a BA Honours Degree in Business Studies & Languages. In 1998, they pursued an Executive MBA at HEC Paris and completed it in 1999. In 2002, Maxine Roper attended INSEAD for the Sara Lee Module, specializing in Advanced Marketing & Sales. Most recently, in 2020-2021, they attended NYU Stern School of Business for the Endless Frontier Labs program, focusing on Deep Tech.
