Filipa Nóbrega

Filipa Nóbrega has a diverse work experience history. Filipa started their career as a Software Engineering Intern at Connecting Software in July 2017. Filipa then transitioned to a Software Engineering Trainee role, where they were responsible for designing and implementing a framework for building .NET connectors. Filipa also worked on their masters' dissertation, focusing on SDK Development for Bridging Heterogeneous Data Sources Through Connect Bridge Platform.

In October 2018, Filipa became a Software Developer at Connecting Software, where they continued to contribute to the organization until December 2021. In January 2022, they were promoted to a Software Developer & Team Leader position.

Filipa also has experiences in academia, working as an Invited Professor at Universidade da Madeira. In this role, they gave practical lectures on Software Engineering, covering topics such as object-oriented programming using C#, software design patterns, and UML.

Prior to these roles, Filipa worked as a Student Researcher at ITI, where they collaborated with the NeuroRehabLab research group. Their work focused on the intersection of technology, neuroscience, and clinical practice to improve the quality of life for individuals with special needs. Filipa also completed their Bachelor's final project and conducted research in computer science fields.

Filipa Nóbrega completed their Bachelor's degree in Computer Software Engineering from Universidade da Madeira from 2013 to 2016. Filipa then pursued a Master's degree in the same field at the same university from 2016 to 2018. Prior to their university education, Filipa attended Escola Básica e Secundária Dr. Luís Maurílio da Silva Dantas from 2009 to 2012, where they studied Sciences and Technologies.

In addition to their formal education, Filipa obtained a certification in Programming in C# from Microsoft in June 2019.
