Valerie Chu

Valerie Chu is an experienced legal and trade compliance professional, currently serving as the Director of Legal and Trade Compliance at Connection since June 2007, having progressed through various roles including Sr. Manager and Manager of Trade Compliance. Prior experience includes working as a Project Lead and System/Business Analyst at Bombardier Aerospace from January 2004 to June 2007 and as a Financial Analyst at Insight from 2001 to 2004. Valerie began the career as a Cost Accountant and Cost Estimator at Smurfit-Stone from January 1998 to April 2001. Valerie holds a Doctor of Law (JD) from the University of Illinois Chicago School of Law, a Master of Science in Regulatory Trade Compliance from Dunlap-Stone University, and a Bachelor of Science in Organizational Behavior from Northwestern University.
