Daniel Hakenes has a diverse work experience, starting in 2003 as an Export Sachbearbeiter at Global Distribution GmbH. After seven years in that role, they moved on to commpage.de as an Abteilungsleiter Service / Projektmanagement Web. In 2013, they joined Majorel Germany as a Customer Support / Mentor / Coach for Microsoft Xbox, and later took on the role of Advertising Specialist for Microsoft Advertising. From 2016 to 2018, they served as a Presales Specialist / Coach for Dynamics 365 und Microsoft 365 at the same company. Daniel'smost recent role was as a Consultant for Dynamics 365 Customer Engagement at connectiv! eSolutions GmbH, starting in 2019.

Daniel Hakenes completed their education at two different institutions. From 2000 to 2003, they attended Ludwig-Erhard-Berufskolleg Münster, where they pursued a degree in Kaufmann im Groß- und Außenhandel (Wholesale and Foreign Trade). Later, from 2005 to 2008, they studied at Hansa Berufskolleg Münster, where they obtained a degree as a staatlich geprüfter Betriebswirt (state-certified business economist) with a specialization in Absatzwirtschaft (sales management).
