Daniel Moneta

Daniel Moneta has a diverse work experience spanning various industries. Daniel began their career at Youthography, where they participated in market research and strategy projects for clients such as Charity.ca, Ford Canada, and Bell Mobility. Daniel then worked as a Sales Associate at Henry's before joining Groundzero Marketing Communications as an Intern and IT Manager. In this role, Daniel participated in marketing activities and managed the company's IT infrastructure.

Daniel went on to work as the Marketing Director at WiSuite, where they played a crucial role in building the company's energy management startup and was responsible for messaging, collateral, web presence, and UI/UX design. Daniel then co-founded MMB Networks, a rapidly growing IoT design services company, serving as the CMO and VP of Corporate Development. Daniel successfully fundraised for the company at increasing valuations and scaled it to over 40 employees.

After leaving MMB Networks, Daniel joined Google as a Senior Product Marketing Manager for Global Devices & Services. Daniel then transitioned to Interbrand as an Associate Director of Strategy. Currently, Daniel serves as a Strategy Consultant at Wow Signal Corporation. Throughout their career, Daniel has held leadership positions and contributed to the development and promotion of connectivity standards in the IoT industry, including serving as the Chair of the Matter Marketing & Product Sub-Group for the Connectivity Standards Alliance and as the Chair of the Zigbee Marketing Workgroup for the Zigbee Alliance.

Daniel Moneta attended the Schulich School of Business at York University from 2001 to 2004. During this time, they obtained an Honours Bachelor of Business Administration degree with a specialization in Marketing.
