Sharif Alexandre

Sharif Alexandre has a diverse work experience. Sharif is currently serving as the Chief Technology Officer at ConnectOne Bank since January 2022. Prior to that, they founded and served as the CEO of Bryllyant from 2017 to 2022. Sharif also founded and served as the CEO of FABRIQ from 2013 to 2016. Additionally, Sharif Alexandre founded and served as the CEO of XIPWIRE from 2008 to 2012, where they developed a mobile payment service. Before their entrepreneurial ventures, they worked as a Business Technology Consultant from 1994 to 2008.

Sharif Alexandre earned a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Electrical Engineering from the University of Pennsylvania from 1990 to 1994. Sharif then pursued a Master of Science (MS) degree in Computer Engineering at the University of Colorado Boulder from 1996 to 1998. In 2001 and 2002, they conducted an independent study in French Language and Literature at Université Paris-Sorbonne. Moreover, they obtained additional certifications, including Red Hat Certified Engineer from Red Hat in 2010, Java Certified Developer from Sun Microsystems in 2002, and Oracle Database Administrator from Oracle in May 2000.
