Doug Truong, MS, CSPO has a diverse work experience spanning several industries. Doug began their career in 2006 as an Accountant at the County of Santa Barbara, where they successfully processed FEMA reimbursements and reconciled general ledger accounts. Following this, they joined Citrix as a Financial Expense Analyst, taking on various roles such as accounting, financial analysis, and business process improvement. At Wells Fargo Bank, Doug worked as a Personal Banker, excelling in business development, sales, and customer service.

In 2010, Doug transitioned to UC Santa Barbara as a Financial Accountant, managing a significant amount of privately donated funds with a focus on accuracy and transparency. Doug then joined Yardi, a real estate technology company, where they served as a Technology and Data Analyst, providing support and resolving issues for clients. Doug also fulfilled the role of an Application Specialist & Technical Account Manager, implementing over 1,000 third-party APIs for Yardi's clients.

From 2019 to 2022, Doug worked at Rhino, an insurance technology company. Doug initially served as a Systems Integration Manager, leading Agile integration projects with strategic partners. Later, they became the Senior Business Systems & Implementation Manager, responsible for designing and implementing integrations through SOAP and REST APIs, as well as being the subject matter expert in real estate technology.

Currently, Doug is employed at Connect Search, LLC as a Senior Business Analyst, specializing in investment applications. With their extensive background and expertise in business analysis and technology integration, Doug is a valuable asset to any organization.

Doug Truong has a diverse education history. Doug obtained a Bachelor of Arts degree in English from UC Santa Barbara in 2004. Subsequently, they earned a certificate in Professional Accounting from UC Santa Barbara in 2006 and a certificate in Marketing Professional from UC Santa Barbara in 2010. Doug also completed an Associate of Science degree in Computer Information Systems from Santa Barbara City College in 2014. Furthermore, Doug Truong holds a Master of Science degree in Information Technology from California State University, Fullerton, which they obtained between 2013 and 2015. In terms of certifications, they recently obtained the Certified Scrum Product Owner (CSPO) certification from Scrum Alliance in September 2021.
