Grant Muhoozi Warner has a diverse work experience in academia and entrepreneurship. Grant Muhoozi started their career in 2003 as an Assistant Professor at Northeastern University. In 2006, they co-founded ConnectYard Inc. and served as the COO. Simultaneously, they joined Howard University as a Mechanical Engineering Faculty member. In 2014, they became the Director of Innovation and Entrepreneurship at CEACS in Howard University and also took on the role of Managing Partner at XediaLabs. Currently, they hold the position of Director of Innovation at Howard University's Graduate School.

Grant Muhoozi began their academic journey at Cornell University, where they earned their Bachelor of Science (BS) degree between 1989 and 1993. Following this, they pursued a Master of Science (MS) degree in Mechanical Engineering at Penn State University from 1994 to 1996. Continuing their studies, Warner then attended Columbia University, where they obtained a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Mechanical Engineering, successfully completing their degree between 1998 and 2003.
