Deon Levingston has been an influential and innovative advertising and broadcast radio and television executive for more than two decades managing some of the most successful urban radio stations in America. Levingston currently serves as a regional vice president for Radio One overseeing the Indianapolis, Detroit, and St. Louis markets. Levingston previously served as Senior VP/General Manager for Emmis New York. He serves on the boards of the Greater Harlem Chamber of Commerce and the Harlem YMCA and has previously been a board member for the Indianapolis Circle City Classic, and Lawrence Township Schools Foundation. Levingston has numerous honors being named one of the Best Major Market General Managers by Radio Ink Magazine and a 40 Under Forty High Achiever by Network Journal Magazine. Levingston earned a bachelor’s degree in legal communications from Howard University in Washington, D.C. He and his wife reside in Indianapolis with their son and daughter.

Spanning more than 1,000 wooded acres in central Indiana, Conner Prairie welcomes nearly 400,000 visitors of all ages annually. As Indiana’s first Smithsonian Institute affiliate, the museum, located in Fishers, Ind., offers nine outdoor, historically themed destinations and three indoor experiential learning spaces that combine history and art with science, technology, engineering and math to offer an authentic look into history that shapes society today.
