Conor O'Sullivan

Conor O'Sullivan is an experienced machine learning and data professional with a strong background in software development and data analytics. Currently serving as Principal Machine Learning Engineer at ConnexAI since November 2020, Conor has also held the positions of Senior Machine Learning Engineer and Data Engineer within the same company. In addition, Conor is the Director of O'Sullivan Cloud Solutions LTD since August 2022. Previous experience includes a role as Data Scientist at umlaut company, where automation solutions for the aviation industry were developed using NLP and object detection, and an MSc research project with Tesco focusing on deep reinforcement learning applied to vehicle routing. Conor's earlier roles include Software Developer at the Central Bank of Ireland and Data Analytics Research Assistant at Dublin City University. Educational qualifications include an MSc in Machine Learning from UCL, a Higher Diploma in Data Analytics from the National College of Ireland, and a B.Sc.(Hons.) in Applied Physics from Dublin City University.
