David B. Stevenson

David B. Stevenson, CFA, currently serves as Managing Director at Conning since June 2016, leading the High Yield Strategy team as an Investment Grade/High Yield Analyst with a focus on Consumer Cyclicals. Prior to this role, Stevenson held the position of Senior Vice President at Hartford Investment Management from January 2008 to April 2016, specializing in High Yield and Bank Loans, covering sectors such as Gaming, Lodging, and Financials. Stevenson was also a Director at Barings from November 2006 to December 2007, where responsibilities included High Yield and Investment Grade analysis across Retail and Consumer Products. Earlier experience includes founding Johnson Thread View Systems, LLC, focused on non-contact vision inspection systems, and serving as a Manager in the Financial Advisory Services Group at PricewaterhouseCoopers from September 1998 to December 2003. Stevenson holds an MBA from the Texas McCombs School of Business and a BA in Biology from Kenyon College.
