Mary Pat Campbell has a diverse range of work experience in the insurance and actuarial fields. Mary Pat began their career as an Actuary at TIAA-CREF in 2003 and worked there until 2008. From 2007 to 2013, they were an Instructor at The Infinite Actuary, teaching seminars for actuarial exams. In 2010, they worked as an AVP at SCOR before joining Conning in 2011 as Vice President of Insurance Research. Mary Pat also served as an Adjunct Instructor at the University of Connecticut from 2014 to 2017, teaching technical writing and computing for actuaries. Since 2015, they have been a Webinar instructor at ACTEX Learning. Additionally, they were a Mentor at Canada/USA Mathcamp from 1999 to 2002.
Mary Pat Campbell holds a Master of Science (M.S.) degree in Applied Math from New York University, which they obtained from 1996 to 2002. Prior to that, they completed their Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in Math and Physics at North Carolina State University from 1992 to 1996. Mary Pat also received their high school diploma from the North Carolina School of Science and Mathematics from 1990 to 1992. In terms of certifications, Mary Pat Campbell has obtained various credentials including a Problem Solving (Intermediate) Certificate and a Python (Basic) Certificate from HackerRank in 2020. Mary Pat also holds a Duolingo French Fluency: Elementary Certificate from 2016, and a Professional Risk Manager certification from the PRMIA - Professional Risk Managers' International Association in 2013. Additionally, they have completed courses in Artificial Intelligence from edX in 2013. Notably, Mary Pat Campbell is recognized as a Fellow of the Society of Actuaries and a Member of the American Academy of Actuaries since 2007.
