Hassan Mahmood

Hassan Mahmood has a diverse work experience spanning over a decade. Hassan worked at Fatima Group as an E&I Engineer from 2008 to 2013, where they focused on the complete automation installation and commissioning of a 15MW turbine generator. Hassan also gained experience in installing and commissioning VFD drives ranging from 1KW to 2MW.

In 2015, Hassan joined Regional Power Inc., where they held various roles. As a Manager Technical and Services from 2018 to 2020, they managed 13 hydro sites in Ontario and BC, providing technical services and overseeing all inspection and maintenance work. Hassan was responsible for troubleshooting remotely and reporting to IESO, Hydro one, and BC hydro. Hassan also successfully completed the installation and commissioning of a 138 KV new transmission line.

Prior to that, Hassan worked as an Operation Team Leader at Regional Power Inc., starting in 2015 and ending in 2018. In this role, they were in charge of the operation and development of two 10 MW power houses, ensuring their 100% operation remotely. Hassan also had responsibilities as an Electrical Engineer overseeing the electrical construction of the hydroelectric dams and the transmission collector system.

Most recently, in 2020, Hassan joined Connor, Clark & Lunn Financial Group (CC&L) as a Manager Technical Services. No specific dates were provided for their tenure at this company.

Hassan Mahmood pursued their Master of Engineering (MEng) degree in Engineering/Industrial Management from the University of Ottawa between 2014 and 2015.
