Malcolm Hamlet started their work experience in 2003 as an Associate at Leon's Furniture Superstore. Malcolm then joined IBM Canada in 2007 as an ITIL Service Desk, Systems Support Analyst and worked there until 2010. In 2011, they began working at Connor, Clark & Lunn Financial Group as a Junior Network Administrator.
Malcolm Hamlet started their education journey in 2003 at George Brown College, where they pursued a degree in Computer Systems Technician with a focus on IT. Malcolm completed this program in 2007. In 2010, they enrolled in triOS College and obtained a Diploma in Network Specialist in 2011.
In terms of additional certifications, Malcolm obtained a variety of certifications from different institutions. In July 2010, they became an MCITP: Enterprise Support Technician on Windows Vista from Microsoft. In September 2010, they obtained CompTIA Network (2009 edition) from CompTIA and also earned MCTS: Microsoft Windows Vista, Configuration from Microsoft. In July 2010, they obtained CompTIA A (2009 edition) from CompTIA.
Malcolm continued expanding their certifications in the coming years. In August 2011, they became an MCTS: Windows 7, Configuration from Microsoft. Malcolm received MCPS: Microsoft Certified Professional from Microsoft in April 2012. In May 2015, they obtained Server+ from CompTIA, followed by CompTIA Security+ ce in May 2017. Finally, in July 2018, they obtained a certification from Microsoft, and in August 2019, they became MCSA: Windows Server 2016 - Certified 2019 from Microsoft.
