Sunny Liu

Sunny Liu has a diverse work experience in various roles and industries.

From 2014 to 2014, Sunny worked as an Administrative Assistant at Lewis and Co. Chartered Accountants. In this role, they were responsible for simple data entry using Excel, organizing and storing office documents electronically, and converting physical documents into a digital format.

In 2017, Sunny joined TD as a Customer Service Representative and later became a Financial Services Representative. They consistently provided efficient and professional frontline service to clients, resolved customer concerns, and established positive client relationships.

Since 2019, Sunny has been working at Connor, Clark & Lunn Financial Group (CC&L) in the Institutional Portfolio Operations department. They initially served as a Specialist and then progressed to an Analyst. In this role, Sunny developed and maintained assets under management (AUM) data using proprietary software and utilized VBA to build Excel macros that automated and improved various operational processes. They also led process improvement projects and collaborated with the IS team to enhance proprietary applications.

Sunny Liu completed their Bachelor's Degree in Economics at The University of British Columbia from 2013 to 2018. In addition, they obtained several certifications, including Mathematics for Machine Learning: Linear Algebra and Introduction to Financial Accounting from Coursera in July 2023 and June 2023 respectively. Sunny also earned the CFA Level II Badge from CFA Institute in January 2023 and the CFA Level I Badge from CFA Institute in August 2019. Additionally, they obtained the IFIC certification from the Canadian Securities Institute in July 2018.
