Rebecca Hynds has a diverse work experience spanning several companies and roles. Currently, they are the Director at Connor, where they lead the Connor Consulting EMEA practice and supports global software vendors in safeguarding their Intellectual Property. In their previous role as the IT Forensic Services - Senior Manager at PwC UK, Rebecca managed a team running a software license compliance program across EMEA. Rebecca'sresponsibilities included completing software license compliance reviews and producing fact-based reports. Prior to that, they worked at Allstate as the Implementation Technical Lead, where they upgraded all CA XCOM installations and introduced XCOM to the Linux platform. Rebecca also acted as the senior support for complex issues and project requests. Before that, Rebecca held multiple roles at Allstate Northern Ireland, including Technical Consultant, Environment Management Analyst, Senior Software Developer, and QA Test Engineer. In these roles, they gained experience in beta testing, installation, and support of various software applications, as well as coding, unit testing, and test planning and execution.
Rebecca Hynds has a diverse education history. Rebecca attended Assumption Grammar School from 1991 to 1996 and then Saint Patrick's Grammar School from 1996 to 1999. At both schools, they did not earn any specific degrees or focus on any particular field of study. In 1999, Rebecca enrolled in Ulster University, where they pursued a Bachelor of Science Honors degree in Computing Science and completed their studies in 2003. Rebecca returned to Ulster University in 2020 and is currently pursuing a Master of Science degree in Executive Leadership, with a focus on organizational leadership.
