Jim Neesen

Jim is a Managing Partner at Connor Group. Jim is a business leader and entrepreneur with 20 years of experience in biotechnology and technology companies. He was on the management team at Fluidigm for seven years as a Director of Finance and Corporate Controller managing the Accounting and Finance groups and the S-1 filing in 2008. He was also the Finance Manager at Affymetrix for six years where he led the financial planning function during revenue growth from $10M to $200M and the 1996 IPO.

Jim has founded two companies, established complex international operations and closed over $150M in equity and venture debt financings. Jim is a former audit professional from Ernst & Young, where he worked on multiple IPO's and secondary offerings. He is a guest lecturer at Stanford University's Graduate School of Business on topics including revenue recognition and IPO readiness.

Jim graduated with a Master's degree from the Stanford Graduate School of Business as a Sloan Fellow and graduated from U.C. Berkeley with a B.A in Economics.
