Bill Hearn

Bill Hearn is an experienced professional in the field of production engineering, currently serving as the Production Manager Asset West at Origin Energy since July 2022. With a long tenure at ConocoPhillips starting in July 2011, Bill Hearn holds roles such as Global Production Engineering Chief and Principal Production Engineer specializing in artificial lift technologies, including gas lift, plunger lift, and hydraulic lift. Prior to this, Bill Hearn worked at Weatherford International from 2001 to June 2011 as a Business Unit Manager and in various managerial roles, and served as the Northern Area Field Supervisor at IPS from 1998 to 2001. Bill Hearn obtained a degree in Petroleum Engineering Technology, focusing on drilling and production, from the Southern Alberta Institute of Technology (SAIT) between 1994 and 1998, and attended the University of Calgary from 1994 to 1996.
