Chung-Kan Huang

Chung-Kan Huang is a Senior Reservoir Engineer at ConocoPhillips, where expertise includes simulator development projects for unconventional resources such as shale gas, oil sands, and integration of geo-mechanics with flow simulators since April 2009. Prior roles include Reservoir Engineer, responsible for enhancing legacy simulators for chemical and microbial EOR, and developing thermal/reactive flow simulations for oil sands and heavy oil applications. Previously, Chung-Kan served as a Senior Process Engineer at TSMC from 2000 to 2004, contributing to advanced photolithography processes across various pilot projects. Chung-Kan holds a PhD in Chemical Engineering from the University of Utah, obtained in 2009.
