James Brown is currently the Lead Trader for European Gas and Emissions at ConocoPhillips, where they have been since 2021. They previously held multiple trading roles at ConocoPhillips from 2010 to 2015, including Senior Trader for UK and European Gas and Curve Trader for Emissions and German Power. Earlier in their career, James participated in the Energy Trading Graduate Programme at E.ON from 2002 to 2005 and worked in Equity Sales & Trading at Credit Suisse First Boston in 2001. They earned a BA in Business Economics from the University of Liverpool from 1999 to 2002.
