Mumtaz Baloch

Mumtaz Baloch is a seasoned Cyber Security Engineer and Identity and Access Management (IAM) specialist with extensive experience across multiple organizations. Currently employed at ConocoPhillips as a Cyber Security Engineer and Senior SailPoint Administrator since September 2024, Mumtaz focuses on monitoring and analyzing data loss prevention incidents in Office 365 and supporting SailPoint Identity IQ infrastructure. Prior experience includes roles at Millicom (Tigo) from July 2020 to August 2024, where security vulnerabilities in Azure environments were identified and remediated, and at Verizon from August 2016 to June 2020, managing tickets and developing data visualization tools for SOC operations. Earlier, at Panasonic North America from September 2013 to July 2016, responsibilities included installation and maintenance of network connections for clients. Mumtaz holds a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science from Karachi University, with an additional educational background from Rice University.
