Sterling Satterfield

Sterling Satterfield has extensive experience in the oil and gas industry, currently serving as the Operational Technology & Automation Maintenance Superintendent and previously in various roles including Digital Transformation Superintendent and Supervisor at ConocoPhillips since March 2021. Prior to this, Satterfield worked at Concho from June 2018 to March 2021 as Operations Engineer II and I. Experience also includes over four years at Trey Resources, Inc. in various engineering capacities, including Senior Asset Engineer. Earlier roles include Mechanical Engineer at Westech Seal, Inc., Researcher at CASL, and Mechanical Engineering Intern at LES, URENCO. Sterling Satterfield holds multiple degrees, including a Master of Science in Computer Science and a Master of Business Administration from The University of Texas Permian Basin, a Master of Science in Nuclear Engineering from North Carolina State University, and two Bachelor of Science degrees in Mathematics and Mechanical Engineering from The University of Texas Permian Basin.
