Jack is a partner at Carter, Ledyard & Milburn LLP. He is co-Chair of the firm’s Intellectual Property Department and also leads the firm’s Cybersecurity and Privacy practice. He specializes in intellectual property litigation, particularly patent litigation, as well as trade secret protection, license and technology agreements, strategic portfolio development, and intellectual property issues arising in corporate and finance transactions. In leading the cybersecurity practice at the firm, Mr. Griem coordinates a cross-functional group of attorneys at the firm to provide clients with advice on developing, strengthening, testing, and enforcing their information protection policies and procedures, and represent them in related disputes and litigation. He has also served as a Special Professor of Law at his alma mater, the Maurice A. Deane School of Law at Hofstra University, where he taught “Biotechnology and the Law.”
