Derrick Schafer

Derrick Schafer has extensive experience in terminal operations, currently serving as the Manager of Terminal Operations at Conrad Yelvington Distributors since July 2009, overseeing the daily operations of 32 rail-served aggregate distribution facilities in the Southeastern U.S. Previously, Derrick held the position of Area Manager, managing the operations of six to nine rail-served facilities and ensuring compliance with Federal Railroad Administration regulations, environmental health and safety standards, and product inventory accuracy. Derrick's earlier roles include Lead Rail and Lead Scale positions, as well as Office Manager/Technician at Fort Knox Security, and Owner/Managing Partner at Trendy Handbags LLC. Derrick holds an Associate's degree in Business Management and Marketing from Mid-Michigan Community College and a certification in Federal Law Enforcement from the United States Air Force Law Enforcement Academy.
