Maimoona Bhutta

Maimoona Bhutta is a Scientist R&D at CONRAD since June 2022, with a rich background in biomedical research. Previously, Maimoona served as a Research Scholar in Virology at Eastern Virginia Medical School from August 2017 to March 2022, focusing on the antiviral activity of Ginkgolic acid against various enveloped viruses. This role involved designing and conducting experiments using techniques such as cell viability assays and RT-PCR. Maimoona also held positions at Brock University within the Neuroscience and Psychology departments, serving as a Teaching Assistant and Laboratory Demonstrator from September 2013 to December 2015, and as a Guest Lecturer for Brain and Behavior II. Maimoona earned a PhD in Biomedical Sciences from Eastern Virginia Medical School and a Bachelor of Science in Neurobiology from Brock University.
