Cody Reid

Cody Reid is an experienced educator with a diverse background in teaching and instructional support. Currently serving as a 6th Grade Teacher and Substitute Teacher at Conroe Independent School District since March 2023, Cody previously worked as a Teaching and Learning Specialist and Virtual Teacher at Proximity Learning, Inc., where expertise included teaching 6th Grade Math, 7th Grade Math, Physical Education, Pre-Algebra, and College Math Prep from November 2019 to February 2023. Additional experience includes roles as a Correctional GED Instructor at Northwest Technical Institute and a 5th/6th Grade Math Teacher at Decatur School District, along with various mathematics teaching positions at Rogers Heritage High School and Rogers High School. Cody began a career in education with substitute teaching roles at AESOP and SubTeach USA and has foundational experience in customer service as a Closing Carhop at Sonic Drive-In. An alumnus of Arkansas Tech University, Cody holds a Bachelor of Science in Education with a focus on Health and Physical Education/Fitness.
