Kate Taylor has extensive experience in education and restorative practices, with a career spanning over 15 years. As a Restorative Advisor for West Sussex Youth Offending Service from September 2006 to March 2014, Kate contributed significantly to restorative justice initiatives. Following this role, Kate served as a Trainer at Restorative Solutions from November 2014 to April 2020 and has been an Educational Trainer in a self-employed capacity since February 2018. Currently, Kate leads the Targeted Education Team at West Sussex Fire and Rescue Service, a position held since April 2020. Kate's early career includes teaching English in Japan from September 2003 to February 2005. Academically, Kate holds a Master of Education in Management and Leadership along with a PGCE in Further Education focused on Restorative Justice, both from the University of Portsmouth, and a Bachelor's degree in Sociology and Criminology from Buckinghamshire Chiltern University.
