Dev Patnaik

Dev Patnaik is the CEO of Jump Associates LLC, a position held since June 1998. In addition, Patnaik serves as an Adjunct Professor at Stanford University since January 2000, co-developing and teaching the ME 216a: Needfinding course focused on design research and planning. As a contributing writer for Forbes since February 2023, Patnaik analyzes strategy, leadership, and innovation. Patnaik is a Board Trustee for Conscious Capitalism, Inc., a non-profit advocating for business-driven social impact, and has served on the boards of Mezzetta and YPO San Francisco Bay in previous roles. Patnaik’s early career included a position as Design Director at Forbes Marshall from 1992 to 1995. Educationally, Patnaik holds a Bachelor of Science in Product Design from Stanford University, graduated in 1992.
