Antoine Chereau serves as the 1er Vice-Président of the Région Pays de la Loire since 2017 and holds multiple leadership roles, including Président de Terres de Montaigu since 2001 and Président du Centre Hospitalier Départemental de la Vendée since 2003. Additional responsibilities include serving as Président de la Fédération Hospitalière Régionale, Pays de la Loire since December 2019 and as Vice-Président en charge des mobilités for Intercommunalités de France since 2021. Chereau has also been the Président of the Orchestre National des Pays de la Loire since January 2016 and served as Maire de Montaigu from 2001 to May 2020. Prior to these positions, Chereau was an Attaché parlementaire at the European Parliament from February 1999 to August 2004. Education was received at Université catholique de Louvain.
