Faozia Acakpo

Faozia ACAKPO is a professional with extensive experience in fisheries management and project coordination. Currently, Faozia holds the position of Chargée de programme pêche at Conseil Régional des Pays de la Loire since January 2022. Previously, Faozia worked as Chargée du suivi des projets de la filière halieutique at Région Hauts-de-France from November 2020 to November 2021, and completed an internship at Sakana Consultants focusing on the impacts of imports on small-scale coastal fisheries in the EU. Faozia's earlier roles include an internship at Sakana Consultants analyzing management measures in octopus fisheries, and technical assistance at Association Karité Bénin in advocacy and marketing for the shea sector.
