David Fairman

David Fairman is a Senior Mediator and Director of the Economic and Social Policy Practice at the Consensus Building Institute, where a career began in February 1997, advancing through roles such as Managing Director, Vice President, and Senior Associate. In addition, David serves as Associate Director at the MIT-Harvard Public Disputes Program since 2001. Prior experience includes a role as Mediator and Trainer in private practice from September 1991 to January 1997, and as a Mediator at Endispute, Inc. from January 1990 to June 1991. David holds a Ph.D. in Political Science from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology and a Bachelor’s degree in History and Literature from Harvard University.
