Catalin Dragomir

Director Customer Support at ConsenSys

Catalin Dragomir has a diverse work experience spanning over two decades. Catalin began their career in 1998 as an R&D Team Leader at Mercury Interactive, where they managed programming, testing, people, release management, and liaised with various teams. Catalin then transitioned to the role of Global Software Customer Support Manager, building high-performing teams and managing escalations. In 2007, they joined Hewlett-Packard Software as the Strategy Program Manager, focusing on research industry trends and best practices. Catalin later became the EMEA Senior Customer Support Manager, leading a team of 100 engineers and overseeing $200m+ in maintenance contract revenue. In 2011, Catalin worked as an Independent Technology Researcher, specializing in Lean Startup and Agile Methodologies. Catalin then joined ArtsTwist.com in 2013 as the Technical Manager, leading the development and release of a game on Apple's App Store while managing business, legal, and marketing aspects. From 2014 to 2018, they worked as the R&D Site Manager at Micro Focus, responsible for the site's operations. Currently, Catalin is serving as the Director of Customer Support at ConsenSys.

Catalin Dragomir obtained a Masters degree in Computer Engineering from the Technical University of Cluj-Napoca, from 1990 to 1995. Prior to that, they attended Tiberiu Popoviciu High School from 1985 to 1990, focusing on Computer Science. Catalin also holds additional certifications in PRINCE2 from APM Group in 2012, ISEB / ISTQB-BCS Certified Tester Foundation from the British Computer Society in 2012, SSPA Customer Support Manager (CSM) from Service Strategies in 2006, and ITIL Foundation from EXIN and ISEB in 2006.
