Jake Perkins

Jake Perkins is a seasoned technology professional with a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science from Texas A&M University-Corpus Christi. Currently serving as a Staff DevSecOps Engineer at ConsenSys, Jake supports MetaMask Infrastructure and web3 experiences. Previously, Jake held roles at Amazon Web Services as a Software Development Engineer and Cloud Application Architect, where contributions included working on the AWS EKS data-plane service team and serving as a consultant for AWS Professional Services. At USAA, Jake developed business applications for real-time brokerage trading and played a key role in enhancing authentication and authorization processes, integrating protocols like OAuth2/OIDC. Earlier in their career, Jake gained experience as an IT Support Technician at the Harte Research Institute for Gulf of Mexico Studies.
