Renee Allums

Renee (Ray) Allums is a multifaceted professional with experience in social marketing, project management, and community advocacy. Currently serving as a Volunteer Basketball Coach for i9 Sports and as a Social Marketing Coordinator for ConsenSys, a leading Ethereum software company, Renee leads the Black in Web3 ERG program while managing various creative projects. With a strong background in program management and community engagement at The Contingent, Renee focuses on improving racial and cultural diversity within Portland's leadership. Previous roles include Technical Social Analyst at Coinbase and Technical Bitcoin Specialist at Cash App, where Renee demonstrated expertise in financial literacy and customer support. As the founder of Culturtize, Renee revolutionized digital ownership for Black social media influencers through NFTs. A graduate of Lewis & Clark College with a Bachelor's degree in Rhetoric and Media Studies, Renee has held leadership positions in various organizations and is committed to enhancing economic empowerment and inclusivity.
