Bjorn Stauch

SVP, Nature Finance at Conservation International

Bjorn Stauch is the current VP of Conservation Finance at Conservation International. Prior to this, they worked as the Regional Head of Wealth Management & Private Banking at Standard Chartered Bank from August 2004 to March 2016. In this role, they were responsible for SCB's Wealth Management business across Africa, managing a team of 100+ wealth specialists. Bjorn has also worked as a Fund Accountant at BBVA Asset Management and as Head of the Client Accounting Department at Mizuho Financial Group.

Bjorn Stauch is a graduate of Rondebosch Boys High School. Bjorn has a Bachelor Commerce from Stellenbosch University, and they are a CFA charterholder. Bjorn also has an Investment Management Certificate from the CFA Institute. Bjorn has a Master of Business Administration - MBA from INSEAD, and they are also a graduate of their Strategic Leadership Programme.

They are on a team with Lisa Mangkonkarn - Controller, VP, Kevin McNulty - VP, Finance & Operations, and Jan Yoshioka - VP, Sustainable Finance, Asia Pacific. Their manager is Barbara Dipietro, CFO.
