Ellen Smith

Ellen Smith is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in systems, analytics, and donor relations within the nonprofit sector. Since November 2012, Ellen has held various leadership roles at Conservation International, including Director of Systems and Analytics and Director of Donor Relations. Prior to this, Ellen served as a Senior Manager in Database & Donor Services at the same organization. Ellen's experience also includes a role as a Raiser’s Edge Specialist at WIST Data Solutions and Development Manager at the Thomas Jefferson High School for Science and Tech Partnership Fund. Earlier career positions include Executive Assistant at Lalaland, LLC, Development Services Coordinator at Historic Mount Vernon, George Washington's Estate and Gardens, and Customer Service Manager at Lustine Toyota and Dodge. Ellen earned a Bachelor of Arts in American Studies from the University of Mary Washington, with prior studies at the University of Florida.
