Herbert Lust

Herbert Lust is an accomplished leader in public partnerships and corporate social responsibility, currently serving as Senior Vice President for Global Public Partnerships and Managing Director of CI Europe at Conservation International since September 2015. With extensive experience in fundraising and partnership development, Herbert has successfully raised EUR 40 million from bilateral and multilateral sources to support conservation initiatives. Previously, Herbert held various leadership roles at Boeing from 2001 to 2015, focusing on corporate citizenship strategies, public affairs, and environmental policy. Early career positions included General Secretary of the European Cockpit Association and Assistant Policy Development Officer at Manchester Airport. Educational qualifications include advanced degrees from KU Leuven, the College of Europe, Cranfield School of Management, and executive education at Harvard Business School.
