Virginia Simpson is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in conservation and sustainable development. Currently serving as the Senior Country Manager for Conservation International Australia since 2014, Virginia established the affiliate and achieved key operational milestones. Previous roles include Program Manager for the Greater Mekong team, Senior Consultant at the South Australian Government, and Development Advisor at Yayasan Wisnu, where Virginia focused on community-driven initiatives. Virginia's expertise spans project management, stakeholder engagement, and policy development, reinforced by a strong educational background including a Master's degree in International Urban and Environmental Management from RMIT University and a Bachelor of Arts in Asian Studies with Honours in Geography from the University of Adelaide.
