Yolanda Chavez

Yolanda Chavez is a seasoned professional in environmental conservation and sustainable resource management, currently serving as the Monitoring and Evaluation Senior Manager at Conservation International since June 2023. Previously, Yolanda held various impactful roles, including Monitoring and Evaluation Manager for the Amazonia Program and Resources and Sustainability Manager at the Wildlife Conservation Society, where key responsibilities involved strategic planning and sustainability initiatives. Yolanda's extensive experience also encompasses project management, research in marine conservation, and environmental consulting, with a strong focus on community-based natural resource management and biodiversity monitoring. Yolanda holds a Master of Science degree in Conservation Biology from The University of Queensland and a Bachelor of Science degree in Biology from Pontificia Universidad Católica del Ecuador.
