Varun Deshpande

Varun Deshpande is a Development Research Coordinator at the Conservation Law Foundation since May 2023, where responsibilities include supporting the Development team through a major fundraising campaign and conducting donor research using platforms such as Raiser's Edge and Wealth Engine. Prior experience includes roles as a Legal-Economic Program Analyst at The Mentor Group, Finance Intern for Joe Cunningham's gubernatorial campaign in South Carolina, and various internships at Siemens Healthineers with a focus on marketing and environmental health and safety. Varun also served as a Campaign Fellow with the Democratic Congressional Campaign Committee for the re-election of Joe Cunningham. Varun holds a Bachelor's degree in History from New York University, having also studied in Florence, Italy. Additional experience includes a sales associate position at TJ Maxx, and involvement in DEI initiatives at CLF.
