Jorie Emory, Ph.D., currently serves as the Director of National Philanthropy at Conservation Legacy since March 2024. Previously, Jorie held leadership roles in various organizations, including Director of Development at Bear Yuba Land Trust and Director of Network Engagement at Children & Nature Network. At Children & Nature Network, Jorie led engagement strategies and events, including a virtual Leadership Summit. As the Wild & Scenic Film Festival Director at South Yuba River Citizens League, Jorie managed a significant environmental film festival. Jorie’s experience includes serving as Director of Community Strategies at River Network, Development Director at Center for Contemporary Arts Santa Fe, and Graduate Administrative Associate at Wexner Center for the Arts. Jorie holds a Ph.D. in Arts Administration, Education, and Policy from The Ohio State University, an MA in Arts Policy and Administration from The Ohio State University, and a BA in Art Studio & Art History from Humboldt State University.
