Mark S. has a diverse work experience spanning various industries. Mark began their career as a Technical Support Manager at Barnsley MBC in 2000 and later moved on to Bull Information Systems, where they held roles as a Server Manager and Business Development Manager. During their time at Bull, Mark demonstrated exceptional attention to detail, customer focus, and the ability to liaise with individuals at all levels. After leaving Bull, Mark returned to Barnsley MBC as a Partner Manager/Project Manager, successfully transitioning strategic contracts back to the Authority. Following a career change in 2016, Mark joined The Conservation Volunteers as the Head of IT and later assumed the role of IT Operations Manager. In these positions, they led on risk and compliance, maintained high IT standards, and implemented a comprehensive transformation program aligned with the organization's goals and objectives. Mark is currently seeking their next challenge to further advance their career.

Mark S. completed their education at the Institute of Leadership and Management from 2016 to 2018, earning an ILM in Management degree. During the same period, they also pursued a NVQ Level 5 in Management Studies and a NVQ in Leadership and Management. Additionally, Mark has obtained certifications in various fields including BSAC Diving Instructor, PADI Diving Instructor, and VMware Technical Solutions Professional (VTSP) Network Virtualisation.
