Tanya Rosen

Director of Central Asian Programs at Conservation X Labs

Tatjana Rosen is a seasoned conservation professional with a robust portfolio in wildlife protection and sustainable development across Central Asia. Currently serving as the Director of Central Asian Programs at Conservation X Labs, Tatjana focuses on collaboration to strengthen conservation efforts and address threats to wildlife. In addition, Tatjana holds the position of Regional Vice Chair for North Eurasia at the IUCN World Commission on Protected Areas. With a history of advising various projects for the UN Environment Programme, including initiatives on climate adaptation and biodiversity conservation, Tatjana previously acted as the Founding Director of Panthera Foundation Kyrgyzstan and has extensive experience in program management, fundraising, and capacity building within the realm of snow leopard conservation and community-based natural resource management. Academic qualifications include an MSc in Wildlife from Yale School of the Environment, and advanced degrees in International Law from Harvard Law School and Università degli Studi di Milano.
