Michael McCarthy

Michael McCarthy is currently the Chair of the Fans Advisory Board at Newcastle United Football Club. Prior to this role, Michael served as the Chief Executive Officer at Consilium Academies and as a Trustee at Galileo Multi Academy Trust and One Excellence Academy Trust. Their previous experience includes being the Chief Executive Officer at THE PRIESTLEY ACADEMY TRUST and holding various positions at Tyne Coast Academy Trust. With a background in education, Michael also served as Deputy Head and Acting Head Teacher at St Michael's C of E Primary School. Michael completed their education at the University of Sunderland and St Leondard's RC Comprehensive Durham.
