Chief Technology Officer / CTO at Consilium Marine & Safety

Thobias Ernfridsson has held multiple leadership positions throughout their career. Currently, they serve as the Chairman of the Board for Microdata Due srl, Consilium Marine & Safety AB, Micropack (Engineering) Ltd, and Buveco Gasdetection B.V. Thobias is also a Member of the Board for Consilium Safety Sweden Production AB and Optronics Technology AS.

In their previous role, Thobias was the Chief Technology Officer (CTO) for Consilium Safety Group, where they were responsible for product management and research and development. Thobias also served as the Vice President (CTO) for the same company, overseeing navigation division and as the Navigational Product Manager. Prior to that, they were a Produktchef för system at Consilium Safety Group.

Additionally, Thobias has been actively involved in the industry, serving as a Member of the Board for Svenskt Marintekniskt Forum - SMTF Swedish Maritime Technology Forum.

Throughout their career, Thobias has gained expertise in product development, production management, and service coordination in the marine technology sector. Thobias has a track record of successfully managing and leading various departments and has extensive experience in regulatory compliance and environmental testing.

Thobias Ernfridsson completed their Executive Management degree in Industrial Management at KTH Royal Institute of Technology from 2018 to 2019. Prior to that, they attended Chalmers University of Technology from 1996 to 1998, studying Electrical Engineering. In 1994 to 1995, they attended Bäckadal Skolan, where they focused on Maritime Electrical Engineering. Earlier, from 1992 to 1994, they studied Electrical Engineering at Ebersteinska.

In terms of additional certifications, Thobias Ernfridsson obtained a Board Member certification from StyrelseAkademien Västsverige in June 2020. Thobias also earned the SAFe® 4 Certified Product Owner/Product Manager certification from Scaled Agile, Inc. in March 2018.
