Aaron Reason

Aaron Reason has a diverse work experience in the field of information security and network operations. Aaron has held various roles in different organizations, starting with their role as Assistant IT Administrator at California State University, Sacramento from February 2007 to March 2009. Aaron then worked as a Network Operations Center Engineer at Sun Edison from February 2010 to January 2012. Aaron joined General Dynamics Advanced Information Systems as a Network Security Engineer in December 2011 and worked there until September 2013. Aaron's most recent position was at Consolidated Communications where they held multiple roles, including Network Security Architect from August 2013 to April 2015, Manager - Network Security from April 2015 to June 2016, Director - Network Security from June 2016 to January 2021, and currently serves as Senior Director - Information Security from January 2021.

Aaron Reason earned a Bachelor's degree in Management of Information Systems from California State University-Sacramento in 2008. Aaron then pursued an Associate's degree in MIS from Sierra College, completing it in 2006. In 2021, they obtained another Bachelor's degree, this time in Computer/Information Technology Administration and Management from Brigham Young University - Idaho. Aaron also holds several additional certifications, including SSSE from Cisco in 2014, Certified Ethical Hacker from Eccouncil in 2013, CCNA from Cisco in 2012, and Security+ from CompTIA in 2010.
