Melissa Vigil

Melissa Vigil has a strong background in human resources and leadership roles. Melissa began their career as a Human Resources Generalist for the City of Albany, where they managed multiple HR programs and ensured compliance with various regulations. Melissa then moved on to serve as the Human Resources Director for the Community Services Consortium, where they oversaw HR functions and provided guidance and support to staff. Melissa further expanded their HR expertise as the Human Resources Manager for Oregon State University, where they provided support to faculty and staff in two colleges. Melissa then transitioned to the Northwest Community Credit Union, where they held several positions, including Chief Strategy Officer/Chief Administrative Officer and Chief Operating Officer. In these roles, they played a crucial role in leading the organization through digital transformation, strategic planning, and change. Currently, Melissa is serving as the Chief Operating Officer for Consolidated Community Credit Union. Through their work experience, they have demonstrated their ability to inspire greatness, promote positive employee relations, and drive organizational success.

Melissa Vigil obtained a Bachelor's degree in Public Health Education and Promotion from Oregon State University, where they studied from 1996 to 2001. In 1995, they attended Linfield University for one year, completing General Studies coursework. Later, Melissa pursued an MBA in Executive Leadership from George Fox University, attending from 2004 to 2006. Additionally, they have obtained several certifications, including Change Management from Prosci in July 2022 and CEO Readiness Training from C. Myers in August 2019.
