Sandra Tobon has a diverse work experience spanning multiple companies and roles. Prior to that, Sandra worked at Hispanic Unity of Florida, Inc. for several roles including Program Manager - Financial Capabilities & Wealth Building, Program Coordinator Financial Capability Services, Senior Financial Coach, and Economic Development Supervisor. Their responsibilities included developing new strategies for economic and business development programs, integrating financial capabilities into afterschool programs, supervising staff, providing financial workshops and counseling, developing relationships with financial institutions and community organizations, and securing continuous funding. Earlier in their career, Sandra worked as a Corporate Trainer at A New Horizon Credit Counseling Services, Inc., where they developed and delivered training and oversaw teams of trainers. Overall, Sandra has a strong background in housing counseling, community outreach, financial capability, coaching, and training.

Sandra Tobon began their education at Broward College in 2009, where they pursued a degree in Business Administration and Management, General. Sandra completed their Associate of Arts and Sciences (A.A.S.) at Broward College in 2014. In 2017, Sandra continued their education at Florida International University to earn their Bachelor of Business Administration/International Business in the field of Business. Sandra completed this degree in 2018.
