Abe Mathews

Abe Mathews has a diverse and extensive work experience. Abe started their career at Intersil in 1996 as a Lead Engineer in the Process department and worked there until 2004. From 2004 to 2014, they worked at B&W Y-12 LLC in various roles, including Quality Engineer, Supervisor of Statistical Applications, Quality Engineering Manager, Acting Vice President of Productivity, and Manager of the Productivity Improvement Program. In 2014, they joined Consolidated Nuclear Security, LLC, where they held positions such as Integration Manager of Assembly/Disassembly Operations and Director of Assembly/Disassembly Operations at the Y-12 site. Abe then became the Director of Product and Manufacturing Engineering, leading multiple engineering departments. More recently, in 2022, they became the Senior Director of Engineering Technical Operations. Throughout their career, Abe has been involved in managing operations, overseeing quality programs, and driving productivity improvements.

Abe Mathews obtained a Bachelor's Degree in Chemical Engineering from Michigan Technological University in the years 1990 to 1994. Following that, they pursued a Master's Degree in Metallurgical/Materials Engineering from the same institution from 1994 to 1996.
