Barry Hyden

Barry Hyden has a diverse work experience spanning several industries. Barry has held the position of Director of Procurement Operations at CONSOLIDATED NUCLEAR SECURITY, LLC since 2023. Before that, they were a Procurement Manager at SAIC from 2021 to 2023, where they managed and trained a team of National Security and Fed Civil Group buyers. Prior to that, they worked as a Purchasing Commodity Manager at Leidos from 2010 to 2021, overseeing the management and training of a team of Machines and Equipment Group buyers. Barry's earlier roles include Senior Buyer at SAIC, Purchasing Specialist at Aisin Automotive Casting Tennessee, Inc, and Account Representative at Toyota Tsusho America. Barry also has experience in business development and land management through their role as Business Development/Owner at CLINCH RIVER PROPERTIES & HOME IMPROVEMENTS. Barry began their career at The Coca-Cola Company as an Account Manager, where they were responsible for sales, marketing, and customer service.

Barry Hyden, CPSM, holds an MBA in International Business from Tennessee Technological University, which they obtained from 2009 to 2011. Barry also has a B.S. in Business Administration from Lee University, earned between 1995 and 1997. In addition to their degrees, they have a certification as a Certified Professional in Supply Management from the Institute for Supply Management.
